1. Scope of Services

Your Neighbourhood Therapist provides professional mental health services, including but not limited to:

• Individual therapy

• Couples therapy

• Family therapy

• Group sessions

• Psychoeducation

• Psychological testing and assessments (where clinically appropriate)

Therapy is a collaborative process. Outcomes vary across individuals, and no specific results or guarantees are implied or promised.

2. Psychological Assessments

Where recommended, psychological assessments may include standardized tools, clinical interviews, scoring, interpretation, and feedback sessions.

• Reports are shared based on clinical judgment and ethical guidelines

• Assessment results are not definitive diagnoses unless explicitly stated

• Reports are intended for therapeutic or referral purposes only

3. Sessions: Duration & Structure

• Standard therapy sessions are 60 minutes, unless otherwise agreed

• Session frequency and duration depend on therapeutic goals and progress

• Punctuality and regular attendance are essential for effective outcomes

Late arrivals may result in shortened sessions without fee adjustments.

4. Fees, Payments & Concessions

• Fees are communicated prior to commencing services

• All sessions must be paid for in advance to confirm bookings

• Accepted payment modes include UPI, cash, and bank transfer

Concessions

• Fee concessions are available only for students, subject to valid ID verification

• All concessions are granted at therapist discretion

Packages

• Discounted packages may be offered for long-term therapy

• Packages must be paid in full at the time of purchase

• Packages are generally non-refundable

• Transfers may be permitted in exceptional circumstances at management discretion

5. Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows

• Cancellations or rescheduling must be done at least 24 hours in advance

• Cancellations with less than 12 hours’ notice may be charged 60% of the session fee

• No-shows may be charged the full session fee

• Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in termination of services

6. Tele-therapy & Communication

• Online sessions are conducted via secure platforms such as Google Meet or Zoom

• Clients are responsible for ensuring:

  • A private environment

  • A stable internet connection

• Non-emergency communication may occur via phone, email, or WhatsApp

• Typical response time is within two business days

7. Emergencies & Crisis Situations

YNT is not a 24-hour crisis service.

In case of immediate danger or severe distress, clients are advised to:

• Contact local emergency services

• Visit the nearest hospital

• Reach out to national or local mental health helplines

8. Confidentiality & Safety on Premises

CCTV cameras are installed on clinic premises solely for safety and administrative purposes.

• Therapy sessions are not recorded

• Footage is accessed only when necessary and by authorized personnel

9. Termination of Services

• Clients may discontinue services at any time

• Therapists may terminate services if therapy is no longer beneficial, appropriate, or ethical, or in cases of repeated policy violations

• Referrals may be offered where clinically appropriate

10. Intellectual Property

All website content, materials, branding, text, graphics, and resources are the intellectual property of Your Neighbourhood Therapist, unless otherwise stated.

You may not:

• Copy or republish material

• Sell, rent, or sub-license content

• Reproduce or redistribute content without written permission

11. Website Use & User Content

Parts of the website may allow users to post comments or feedback.

• YNT does not pre-screen user comments

• Opinions expressed by users do not reflect the views of YNT
